Twinkle Toes

Once upon a time there was a girl who always wanted to be in tap dancing class.  She spent her childhood running track and playing soccer and softball.  She never got to wear a cute sparkly outfit and go on stage and perform--- until now!  As many of you know (because I never stop talking) I took dance class this year at Rhythm and Shoes .    It was soooooooo much fun and a good workout too!
If you identify with this story and you want to follow your dreams- there is summer adult classes- Wednesdays from 6:00 - 7:30 and next year class will be Monday nights at 8:00 pm . Come and join--- you we LOVE it!

Here is the recital- thank you Elizabeth for the bootleg video!

Look Out-- I Mean Look Up Taipei 101

In January 2008 I got to say, "I have been to the top of the tallest building in the world-- Taipei 101-- Above is a not so good picture of me and my traveling partners on top of Taipei 101

Now there is a new "tallest building".... I can't really spell the name of the building, but here is some information on it.

Our Deepest Fear

Our Deepest Fear by Marianne Williamson

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone.  And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."

I Wonder Where She Gets That From?? ---OK it might be from her Aunt Shanny

Last night I had my annual birthday sleep over with my niece, Megan.  She is a very fun, sweet and cool 6 year old.  She makes me laugh... quite a bit.  Enjoy her one girl show, she was proud of it and wanted to watch it 10 bazzlion times last night.

Oh, to explain the title of the post a bit more, whenever my nieces and nephews act crazy, silly, loud and/or funny, my BFF always says, I wonder where they get that from?

Enjoy your internet debut Miss Megan!!! I you very much!!! Thanks for a fun night and Happy 6th birthday !!
